Obituary of Mary Louise Sheehan

Mary Louise Sheehan (nee Stockwell) Loving and beloved wife, mom of seven and grandmother of fifteen went home to the Lord on the Feast of Saint Patrick, March 17, 2011, aged 75. Born March 13, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Chalmer and Helen Stockwell of Belleville, Michigan, she is survived by her dearly lovedhusband of 53 years, Leo; children Wendy, Laurie, Michael, Danny, Kathy, Christy, and Kerry; grandchildren Sarah, Shannon, Nathaniel, Matthew, Sean, Becky, Kaitie, Kiera, Kai, Rachel, Faith, Joe, Will, Liam, and Rory; and sister Sally and brother Larry. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Tony and sister Suzie. A former nurse, she lived to serve those in need and her God, Whom she loved with all her heart. She will always be dearly remembered for thestrength of her faith, the depth of her love, and her untiring care for the least among us. Funeral arrangements handled by Adams-Green, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, Virginia. Viewings will be Friday, March 25, 2011, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church; Father Jim Angert, T.O.R., Pastor; 750 Peachtree Street in Herndon Virginia. Reception will follow. Burial will beprivate. She fed the homeless, clothed the poor, and cared deeply for all in need.
