Phillip W. Simons, age 57, of Herndon, VA went to be with Jesus on November 20, 2008 at Veterans Hospital, Martinsburg, WV. He was born on May 6, 1951 in Arlington, VA to the late Marvin P. and T. Patricia Ait Simons. Phillip was the brother of Albert Simons, Lantz Simons, Mary Carkin, William Young and Joe Young, also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 26 th from 10am to 11am at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA, where funeral services will be held at 11am. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 28 th at 10am at Quantico National Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Disable American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076 or www.dav.org .
