I will miss you Sal. Your smiling face and your love of my cooking (Arroz con Pollo and Corned Beef) will always be in my heart. You brightened my days and made me feel like I belonged. Breakfast club will never be the same. To all of Sal's family I offer my condolences and prayers. Your Dad was a wonderful loving man with a heart of gold. I'm sure he will be in your hearts forever. With thoughts and prayers, Bunny

Peg, Fred, Mark, Randy and Family, I wanted to write to tell you again how sorry I am. There are never the right words to express how deeply sad I feel that you have to endure this loss. Sal will be truly missed by everyone who knew him no matter where they crossed his path in life. Sal’s warm friendship, steadfast encouragement, sense of humor and readiness to sing a Broadway song will be sorely missed. He was always there to quietly listen, offer fatherly advice, display the wisdom gained from years of experience, compliment those around him and play with the glee of a child with every pet within his reach. Good friends like Sal are few in life and it is with a heavy heart that I also grieve with you. His friendship meant the world to me. Memories of our times together, regardless of where we were or what we were doing, will be forever held dear. Saturday morning breakfasts, Sunday afternoon ball games, birthday parties, neighborhood gatherings and annual trips for watch repairs, Veteran’s Day celebrations and winery cookouts just won’t be the same. May your own memories of him as a loving husband and devoted father bring you comfort in the days ahead. Your loss is also my loss, and I am here, at any time, to help you in any way I can. Do not hesitate to call me for anything at all (409-594-9231). With deepest sympathy, your friend, Bill

My heartfelt condolences to Peg and Sal's boys. He was a special friend to Don and Me. He always said I was like a little sister to him, but I really felt more like a daughter, not ever having my father as I grew up. Every time I hear news commentary from the left, I can hear him arguing his point . He was a passionate man, opinionated , but loving, kind, and generous. I have had the good fortune to hear his stories and read some of his journals, to me they were rich with the life and experiences of a man who lived his life to the fullest. I will miss him and am a better for having known him. God bless Him and his loved ones.
