Julie and Kris - What moves through you is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, you may not understand why she left this earth so soon, or why she left before you were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, you begin to remember not just that she died, but that she lived. And that her life gave you memories too beautiful to forget. May these words help you find strength over the coming days. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

We miss you so much Nana. You left such a lasting impression on everyone you met and touched so many lives. I will never forget all the nights we spent playing Uno until the wee hours of the morning and eating cookies :) I hope you keep everyone in line up there in heaven, teach them how to play phase 10 (since I never was able to catch on) and get to sit and read for hours. Love you!!

Julie, I am often not at a loss for words. But my heart aches and I fear the words I have in my heart are not enough somehow. I am reminded of the pain as I write this. Please know that the loss is never replaced. Allow the moments to grieve. Allow the tears you release to flow. I realize it is not easy. I realize that most days right now will seem empty. But please know this....the sun does shine again; the butterflies appear suddenly; and the love you have for your Mom is stronger; purer; and unending. It is with that love that I know she will watch over you. Smiling with a warmth of the sun and with the peacefulness of a butterfly. I love you my friend. Leigh Ann
