Obituary of Michael Slattery

Michael Thomas Slattery, age 57 of Herndon, VA died on December 14, 2010 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. He was born on August 11, 1953 in Troy, NY to the late Daniel and Anne Dowd Slattery. Michael was a Group Vice President at Forrester Construction Company, Rockville, MD. Michael was the beloved husband of 31 years of Constance Mary Slattery, loving and devoted father of Ian Michael Slattery and Cailin Marie Slattery, both of Herndon, VA, brother of Daniel Slattery of Charlestown, RI and Janet Studnicki of Troy, NY. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 17 th from 4-8pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 18 th at 12:00 noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree Street, Herndon, VA. Interment will immediately follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or the Herndon High School Booster Club, 700 Bennett Street, Herndon, VA 20170.
