Obituary of Alan H. Smith

Alan H. Smith, age 50, of Chantilly, VA lost his three year battle with cancer on Sunday, December 26, 2010. He was born on November 26, 1960 in Englewood, NJ . Alan, was a Senior Product Manager for XO Communications. Alan, an Elder at Grace Fellowship Church, had a gentle spirit and strong faith in his Lord. He was highly respected and loved all who knew him. Alan was the beloved husband of 23 years of Robin W. Smith, loving father of Leah Smith and Aaron Smith, devoted son of Howard and Elnora Smith, brother of Sharon Baker and her husband Donald andd a host of other family members. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 2 nd from 1-3pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 2 nd at 4pm at Grace Fellowship Church, 25350 Poland Road, Chantilly, VA. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Grace Fellowship Church.
