Sharon was such a loving, kind and giving person to all of us. She was taken away much too soon and she will be missed. She is in my thoughts and prayers.

Sharon Cumby called me with the news of Sharon's passing a few minutes ago. John 14 says it best of all. She's home now. No more pain, no more sadness. I will be praying for those she left behind. It's been a long time since TJ for us. But time nor distance can dull the memories of the times we have shared. Blessings, Boomer

Dear sweet Sharon you will be truly missed...Dianne and I will continue our tribute to the passing of our dear friends...we just didn't think you would be one we would be toasting to...our dinners just won't be the same. I miss you, your contagious laugh, your friendship so much. I know you and Rachel will be looking over us.

We were JMU dorm mates from 1972-1975. We spent many happy hours sharing not only a bathroom but water fights, costume parties, decorating contests, and many other silly and fun times. Our favorite story about Sharon was when we kidnapped her in her pajamas and treated her to a birthday breakfast at HoJos. Sharon was a great sport and we enjoyed her laughter. How ironic it was that the four of us were together when we learned of Sharon's death. How sad we all were to hear the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this difficult time.

My dear, sweet cousin -- Sharon. I want you to know how I will always treasure our childhood memories and all the fun times we shared. My fondest memories are the countless hours we spent playing board games and with our Barbie Dolls. I still have, and so cherish, the beautiful Barbie clothes your Mom crocheted for each of us. Although our teenage and young adult lives took us in different directions, it never dulled my love for you. Now I realize reconnecting with you five years ago was truly a blessing. I enjoyed our emails & Christmas cards and will so miss that. How fabulous it was to see you at my Mother's 80th birthday party in August. We all realized how important "family" is!!! You looked so beautiful and that "smile" of yours --- gosh, it just made your eyes sparkle. I loved hearing how happy you were...the new home and furnishings to reflect YOUR personality and an exciting job. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to have our "cousins" portrait taken. For the first time I saw so many similarities and there is no doubt we are all related. You could easily pass for our sister. I'm still in shock over your sudden passing and can't understand WHY the good Lord took you home at such a vibrant time in your life. My tears are still many and my heart is heavy over the loss of my "special" cousin. Bet you are looking down at us from heaven, with that sparkling smile bigger than ever, because you are reunited with your Mom and Dad. Give my love to all our family members.....my Dad, Christine, Aunt Marie and Uncle Russell, Mama and Pop-Pop, Aunts Gertrude, Veronica and Madeline. All my Love
