I only met Albert once at a small car show in Herndon. My first impression of him was he was fun and full of life. My husband has known Albert over 20yrs. He would come into his work (Sheets Wholesale)to get things for his own job and they would joke and laugh. I always heard the stories of their fun. Albert stopped the day of his accident to visit Rick and as usual they had lots of laughs. Albert spoke of going on a trip to Atlantic City and how he was looking forward to it. He left that day headed out to drop something off for his work and was to come back to see Rick in the afternoon. He never made it and the phone call came this morning of his death. Although I never really got to know Albert personaly he brought great joy to my husband life. Rick is very fortunate to have met Albert and to call him friend. Our prayers are with your family during this difficult time!

To a wonderful family you are in our prayers. Albert was a light in our lives and we will miss his great smile. He always had a good attitude, he truly loved his family and life itself, he would make us laugh everytime we met. He was also a mentor to our Son, who loved to talk to Albert and just hang out in the garage with him intently listening to his stories of cars, trucks and pretty much anything with a motor. We will all have such good memories of Albert and trust in God that he is at peace.

I have worked with Al for 23 years and since both of us were born and raised in this area, we knew all the same people and felt we had known each other all our lives. He was my best buddy at work and everyday he stopped by my office and we found something or someone to laugh about. He was a great guy, a great person, a great friend and I regret that I didn't tell him more often than in a birthday or Christmas card. Al and his family have always been special to me and I feel like I am a better person for having had him in my life. My final goodbye to him is Al, you were one smooth dancer!
