Obituary of Lois G. Booth

LOIS G. BOOTH , age 88 o f Great Falls, VA passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, Col. Merritt B. Booth, Jr. (US Army, Retired); children, Phyllis (Stuart) Dom and Merritt B. (Julie) Booth, III; sister, Leila (Joseph) Flavel; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Dawson; infant son Gordon Booth; brother, Joseph Griffith and sisters Millicent Fetter and Mildred Griffith. Family will receive friends Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 PM at ADAMS-GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17, 2011 at 11:30 AM at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 10550 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls, VA. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be determined.
