Daddy, I miss you so much, you were such a great and kind hearted man and was never afraid to show it. I just hope that I can be that kind of father that you were to Shelly and I. From what people have told me you understood why I couldn't make it down to see you as you would have wanted me to. I was so planning on getting this new van to come down and see you and I was planning to do that soon, it's not that I didn't want to see you I wanted it to be all of us, I wish I would have come down though with just Colin and I, so you could have gotten to see us one last time before your sudden departure from this world. It tears me up inside to know that your not going to be around anymore to see him grow, I just hope that I can show him that kind and nurturing that you instilled into me. I love and miss you so much and hope that one day I can walk by your side once again.

To Tims family I was very saddened to hear of his passing. I had only known Tim for about 10 months. I would see him almost every morning having breakfast at the diner in Round Hill. Tim was always pleasant and interesting to talk with as I am sure the rest of the breakfast crowd would agree. I recall the windy day two of us helped Tim set up his portable garage and how we laughed and wondered if it could stand the wind on the mountain. Tim had a kind heart and gladly volunteered to help another neighbor set up his yard sale. I know he took great care of his sister and always got a sandwich to go when he left the diner. I last saw him Thursday as he smiled and waved driving away with his trusty dogs along for the ride. They always got a small piece of bacon he saved from breakfast. His family has been in my thoughts and prayers

from the moment i meet you 11 years ago, you made me feel like a part of your family. you were such a kind and loving man, and were never ashamed to show someone how you felt, that is the gift that you gave so freely to anyone who was blessed enough to call you family. i always wanted to give you grandchildren, and even though i could not do that in the tradional way, i will always cherish the memory, when you made that long trip up to maryland to see your new grandson for the first time. i didn't think anyone could be happier then tim and i, until i saw you hold colin for the first time. i will be forever greatful for the love you so easily gave to my girls when they became a part of our family. they were truely lucky to have a grampy like you. you will be loved, cherished, and remembered for a long time. i will keep my promise to you and will be forever greatful for the loving husband that is more like you, then he relizes, and for the rare gift of being able to be called your daughter in-law. i will keep you in my heart always, i love you dad!!
