Love and hugs to James, Ben and Sam and the extended Myers and Sullivan families. Family truly was always first for Patty. No words can describe how much I'll miss my bestest friend. May all of wonderful times we shared together be a remembrance of a life well-lived but way too short: Scrabble games, couples Cosmic Wimpout, coffee at Starbucks, gal pal trips to OC, Wolf Trap nights, and especially evenings on her "happy place". The echo of her laughter will live on in my heart. The Kelley Family

James, Ben and Sam; We are so sorry for your loss. Personally, I want you to know how much I'll treasure my marathon conversations with Patty that would start with a simple request to send each other's kids home or to arrange a car pool, her orange crushes and witty comments that always made me laugh. But mostly, I'll hold close how she was the driving force behind our FUN Smith Circle Book Club which enabled a group of neighbors to form a truely stong bond of friendship and community. Danette

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Patty was an extraordinary woman who treasured her family and cared for all. She was one of my "besties" and I will miss her dearly. She was a rare gem- authentic, kind, compassionate, hilarious, talented and fun..a beautiful person both inside and out. I will treasure the memories of our time together always. Sending thoughts of love and comfort your way...Hugs, Amy

James: I am just so stunned and saddened. We had such good times together at MWC. I remember when you proposed to her with all her MWC friends around. That was so touching. My first wedding cake was for you two....Patty always loved my carrot cake. I remember coming to visit when Sam was born. I am so sorry for your tremendous loss, the boys as well.

Dear James, I was shocked to hear that Patty is gone and still can't believe it. I will always remember her smile, her tremendous witty humor and, most of all, her inner kindness. She's one of those people whom I will never forget and her face and spirit come to my mind often in these early days of realizing her absence. You and your boys are in my prayers and I with God's blessings on all of you.

To Patty's friends and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Patty, a very sweet soul, is gone too soon. Patty and I were friends and neighbors during high school and got back in touch on FB. I loved how involved she was with her family, how she loved that her son was in marching band, how much she loved her book club friends and the orange crush drinks she liked as a treat. And, how she loved going back to Westminster to visit with her close friends from high school and how they laughed and laughed! Also the girls wekend trips to OC. She will be fondly remembered by many people. May she rest in peach.

James, Ben and Sam: I am truly saddened for the loss of Patty/your Mom. Patty was more than just a friend; she was truly an amazing person. She loved her family so much. Her passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was the Smith Circle Book Club Babe Founder, which we are all so very grateful for. I will miss having our lunches at Clyde's, which we both enjoyed so much. Patty's memory will always remain deep within my heart. I hope that your wonderful memories of Patty/your Mom will bring you comfort and peace at this difficult time. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Carol

Patty will certainly be missed by family and friends. We grew up together in Westminster, MD and I will always remember her as our "Little Patty". It was so good catching up with her again on Face Book and hearing of her wonderful family. She was always so excited to tell us about her boys and what they were doing with their lives. My thoughts and prayer go out to Patty's family... especially now with their great loss...

I cannot begin to express how sad I am that Patty is gone. She was a dear friend of my dad, Steve Dodson, and he thought the world of Patty. I first knew Patty when I was 18 and I always thought so much of her because she was funny and spunky. She always made me laugh and I admired that she was sure of herself and it made me want to aspire to be a strong woman. My dad, Steven, is also with the Lord but I miss him everyday and now I will mourn and miss Patty. My heart and prayers go out to her husband and children. I never had the opportunity to meet you but through Patty, I feel like I knew each of you. God bless you all.
