I am so sorry for your loss. She was a lovely lady. I'm sure she was at heaven's door by angels with bouquets of irises for her.

As so many others, my first Iris came from Margaret, and, of course recieved so much more from her than her lovely plants. My life was enriched by being able to say-- " Oh yes, I know the iris lady". Rest in peace Margaret, in a garden that grows no weeds.

I will never forget Margaret's love of her irises. She was an inspiration to all of us at ValeArts. Monet and Margaret had a lot in common. Her garden was her palette and her life. God bless her.

I have visited with margaret and her garden for 20 years, I bought my first Iris and Peony's from her, and when I divide mine and could not find homes for them, I would bring them to Margaret, and tell her when people came to pick up there iris that she sold, to give them a few additional to take home. She was a special treasure herself, and will be missed by all, I will make sure to add the Margaret Wilson Thomas to my Iris Garden which contains over 400 iris
