Obituary of Lawrence Edward Urquhart

Lawrence E. Urquhart died on October 30, 2008 at Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax, VA. He was born on February 4, 1920 in Plainfield, NJ to the late Benjamin and Mary Tilghman Urquhart. Lawrence was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He was also a member of the Tuskegee's Airmen Association. Lawrence was the beloved husband of the late Lula B. Urquhart, loving father of Jeannette Urquhart-Buckley, Steven Urquhart and Phillip Urquhart and the late Donald and Warren, Sr. Urquhart, brother of Mary Urquhart Carter, also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 6 th from 5-8pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 7 th at 11am at St. Veronica's Catholic Church, 3640 Centreville Road, Chantilly, VA. Graveside services will be private.
