Obituary of Lois Rose Vega

Lois Rose Vega, age 84, died on November 14, 2007 at her home in Great Falls, VA. She was born on December 17, 1922 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Charles and Rose Schlegel. Lois was the beloved wife of the late Michael Vega, loving mother of Rosemary Tapp and her husband Jim of Great Falls, VA, Michael Vega and his wife Linda, Robert Vega and his wife Pat, both of Pittsburgh, PA, and the late Catherine Vega and Lois Chojnicki, proud grandmother of Desiree, Mitra, Erin, Michelle, Jessica, Jennifer, and Caroline, great-grandmother of Taylor, Nicholas, Maeve, Katie and Tapp, beloved aunt of Carol, Linda, Betty and Judy. She will be greatly missed by her dear friends at the Herndon Senior Center. Lois donated her time making infants hats for the newborns at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 19 th at 3pm at St. John Episcopal Church, 6715 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA.
