Obituary of Delia Velez-Werner

Delia Velez-Werner, age 89, died on December 2, 2008 at her home in Sterling, VA. She was born on May 30, 1919 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Felix Velez-Lamela and Mercedes Velez-Lopez. Delia was the beloved wife of the late John E. Werner, loving and devoted mother of John A. Werner of Chicago, IL, Dennis J. Werner of Sterling, VA and Barbara Davila of Sterling, VA and the late Richard J. Werner, sister of Hilda Huffman of Puerto Rico, proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 12 th at 10am at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 46833 Harry Byrd Hwy, Sterling, VA 20164.
