Obituary of Dulce Maria Wahdan

Dulce Maria Wahdan age 10 of Herndon Va. passed away on Sept 18, 2008 at Fairfax Hospital. She had attended Clearview Elemntary School and currently attended Hunters Woods Elementary School in the fourth grade. Dulce was born in Guatemala City on February 8, 1998 and has lived in Virginia since she was adopted at the age of 17 months. She is survived by her parents Hasan & Jerri Lee Wahdan , and brothers Jesse & Derek. her Nana & Pop Pop Vicki & james Jurgevich of Stoystown Pa., Great grandmother GiGi Mary Jane Fyock of friedens Pa. her Aunt Robin, Uncle Erick, cousins Coleman & Helen (Henny) Fish of Somerset Pa., Aunt Christi Corbett and Uncle Paul Cebula of Boswell Pa. & cousin Charlie Corbett, Aunt Samira , Uncle John cousins Nicholas & Christopher Kaufman of Ashburn Va. Uncle Myel Wahdan of Centreville Va., Uncle Omar Wahdan of Herndon Va. "Grammy & Grampy" Jeannette & Vann Halbrooks of Fairfax Va., Aunt Lisa & Unlce Don Martinson of Winchester Va. "Phone buddy" Ginger Katz of Centreville Va. The "Other Mother" Christine Rahn along with the "Other Family" of students and staff at Huners Woods Elementary School in Reston who allowed dulce to be herself and accepted and loved her unconditionally. Memorial Service are scheduled on Thursday Sept 25 at 7 p.m. at the Floris United Methodist church 13600 Frying Pan Road Herndon Va. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Floris United Methodsit church with the memo to Child Rescue Center to benefit children affected by war in Sierra Leone , Africa.
