Obituary of William Harry Woods

William H. Woods, MSgt USAF (Ret) On Monday, April 5 th, 2010, William (Bill) Woods passed away at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Bill enjoyed a distinguished 22 year Air Force career. He began his career at Craig AFB in Selma, AL as an aircraft technician and ended his career as a flight engineer for the 1 st ACCS (Air Command & Control Squadron) at Andrews AFB, MD. After retiring from the Air Force, Bill went to work for Rolls Royce America and enjoyed a 20 year career as a Spare Engines Account Manager. Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peggy Woods, their 3 daughters, Karen Barry of N. Bethesda, MD., Rene' Kendrick of Ashburn, VA. & Leigh Ann Howell of Kapolei, HI. Bill was also very proud of his 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Bill was loved by all and will be missed.
