Obituary of Richard Walter Youmans

Youmans, Capt. (Ret., USN) Richard W. (Age 70) Of Herndon, VA of ALS on May 16, 2009. He was born June 1, 1938 in Union, NY and graduated from the University of West Florida with a BA in Management. He served in the Navy 31 years, was awarded Legion of Merit. Taught quit smoking classes. Beloved husband of the late Jean C. Youmans. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Fawcett; three sons, Michael, Russell, and John Youmans; his sister, Myrna Hamilton, and eight grandchildren. A memorial service was held at the Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170, on Tuesday, May 19, at 10 AM. He will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery later this year with full military honors.
