Dear Family of Inessa, I began my relationship with her as my teacher. Soon after, she became my family. She continues to be my inspiration, my teacher by example, my music. The first time I heard Inessa play the viola, she made Ed and I cry because it was so beautiful. Today, when I think of all that Inessa meant to me, I cry because she was so beautiful. There is a space in my heart that no one will ever fill. It is a beautiful space, held just for her until we are together again. May you rest in the arms of God, my teacher, my friend, my family. You brought heaven to us on earth through your music. The music plays on. If we listen with our hearts, we will hear it. I love you. Julia
