Obituary of Charles John Bray

John was born September 7, 1927 in Richmond, VA. He was the son of the late Charles V. Bray and Rosa May Bray of West Point, VA. John died September 8, 2008 at his home in Ashburn, VA. He was a graduate of West Point High School and attended Christ Church Episcopal School. He also attended the University of Richmond and the Ohio State University and served in the US Navy at the end of World War II. John finished his engineering career at Westinghouse Research in Annapolis, MD retiring after 28 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Elizabeth T. Bray of Ashburn, Virginia, four daughters, Leslie B. Waltz of Tekonsha, Michigan, Constance B. Ross of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Kathryn T. Bray and Jeanne B. Burke both of Ashburn, Virginia. He is also survived by five grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008, at 11:00 AM at The Damascus United Methodist Church in Damascus, MD.
