We have lost a friend – yet each of us who knew Paul was gifted with a much richer life just in knowing him. Paul was an officer that I looked up to and respected. Paul was a very special person. He was a leader. He had a very natural way in which he inspired – and no project or undertaking was too big – when Paul asked that it be done. For over 30 years I have enjoyed Paul’s company, advice, wisdom and humor. Memories of him will always be close – and bring warmth each time they are recalled. Thank you Paul – God bless and keep you.

Paul was my commanding officer in the U.S. Army Reserves during the early to mid 1980s. He was both loved and respected by his troops as the type of leader who inspired and enabled his people to do their best. I always remembered him fondly, and he will always have a place in my heart. Thank you for a wonderful soul.

Dear Baker Family: I wanted to send my deepest and sincere condolences during this unfortunate time in your lives, but I also wanted to share with your family a comforting promise that God gives in his Word the Bible about the hope of us seeing our dead loved ones, it's found at John 5:28,29 which in part reads:"Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life,". Your family will be in my prayers, my sincere condolences.
