Dear Betty and Family, Please accept my most sincere sympathy in the loss of your wonderful husband and father. He was a very kind, personable d loving man with a special sense of humor. Even though I have not seen him in several years, my memory is full of the special times when I visited with both you and Avie. May God bring comfort to you all during this time of sadness.

To the Fingeret Family: I wanted to take this time to extend my most deepest condolences. I read about the loss of your father in the obituary today and I am truly sorry. Death is not easy for us as humans to face, and sometimes we may find it a struggle to endure, it's comforting to know that we can always turn to God and his Word the Bible to give us the right words of encouragement at the right time, like the scripture found at Revelation 21:3,4 which in part reads:"And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Your family will be in my prayers, my sincere condolences.

Avie was long-time colleague at the Department of Energy and a good friend. He was a great lawyer and we will greatly miss his great humor and wit. Condolences to his loving family.

A good man, he was a smart, cheerful, and valuable colleague who steered me right many times during the time I was privileged to work with him. The last time I saw Avie was when we shared a Nationals’ baseball game at the tail end of last season. It was easy to enjoy his company, and those memories are lasting. You have my condolences.
