With deepest condolences to Terry, Friends, and Family. This poem has long been a tradition in my family: Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunshine on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I did not die.

Dear Terry, Carolyn was a special person in every aspect of her life. You were blessed to have her in your life even though it was for too short a time. May her joy fill you with joy and her peaceful nature bring peace to you. Carolyn lives on in our minds and our hearts. She lived by example. May we all follow that now. Best regards. Joan

Carolyn certainly touched all the lives of those she came in contact with. Carolyn was worldly, kind, generous, full of wisdom, with great sense of humor. She loved life, good friends, good food, good scotch! We sat near one another at the office for at least a year. I still have the zagat book she gave me filled with her notes… and every time I dine at her favorite little Italian eatery A La Lucia I think of her. I will have go there again soon for some good Italian and a good stiff drink, and I will think of Carolyn and all of our chats about life. My deepest condolences to Terry, friends and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to Carolyn's family. I never meet her or knew her personally but was a client of hers while she was at the travel agency. She was ALWAYS professional, helpful, courteous, polite, respectful, and considerate to us weary "road warriors". I was truly saddened hearing of her passing.

Dear Terry, It is impossible to adequately express my sincere sympathy at this most difficult time. Carolyn was an exceptional person and I feel blessed to have worked with her. She was always quick with a smile, even during the most trying of times. She will truly be missed. You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she's gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Carol, my friend for over 50 years, was the only enduring optimist I've known...no matter the obstacles, looking beyond and pursuing a goal of being happy was how I remember much of her life's energy was directed. With that she inspired those who knew her to smile, to laugh, and to feel all was going well. Our friendship began as young girls to adolescence, through the passages of adulthood, to ladies who laughed that we could wear purple and red together now that we were officially "senior citizens." We went from our small Massachusetts townships, to open our horizons in big cities thousands of miles from home. The adventure took us separate ways to eventually living in and traveling foreign countries - sometimes losing touch, but always knowing we were friends. I know in her optimistic way she would tell us today to be happy, that life is good, and she is "just great!" To Terry, Phillip, Elaine, Suzanne, and Donna, I share your loss and my thoughts are with you at this time. I loved my friend and I will miss her.
