Obituary of Henry William May

Henry W. May Of Sterling VA, formerly of Baton Rouge, LA died on May 18, 2012 at Reston Hospital, Reston, VA. He was born in Louisiana in 1925 to the late E. A. and Irene P. May. He served in the Navy Seabees during World War II and was awarded an Asiatic Pacific Commendation. He was the devoted husband of Dorothy S. May for 61 years and proud father of Bridget A. May of Herndon VA. Mr. May worked as an instrument technician and construction supervisor for many years. He is known in Herndon for the beautiful wooden dollhouses he built with great care and attention. He was also a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ for many years. Mr. May's memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 24 at 3 PM at Floris United Methodist Church, 13600 Frying Pan Rd., Herndon, VA. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Floris United Methodist Church, 13600 Frying Pan Road, Herndon, VA 20171; Sovereign Grace Church, 5200 Ox Road, Fairfax, VA 2203; or the American Lung Association.
