Obituary of Donald Grover Barnett

Donald Grover Barnett, passed away on Monday, May 28th, 2012 at his home in Potomac Falls, Virginia at the age of 71. Son of MSGT Guy and Iva Barnett, of Lawton, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth Roberts Barnett, son Bryan Gilbert Barnett, son Gregory Donald Barnett, daughter in-law Allison Cozzolino Barnett, and two grandchildren, Molly Irene Barnett and Benjamin Gregory Barnett. Don served as a navigator and electronic warfare officer in the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1978, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Following his retirement from the USAF, Don and his family relocated to Douglasville, Georgia where he worked as systems engineer at the Coca Cola Company in Atlanta. Later in retirement he relocated to Potomac Falls, Virginia to be near his children and grandchildren. He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
