Obituary of David Baird Grimes

Grimes, David Baird ( Son, brother and uncle ), Of Sterling, VA. Passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Reston Hospital in Reston, VA. Born in St. Joseph, MO on August 23, 1940 to the late Jane and Jack Grimes. Graduated Christian Brothers High School in 1958. Moved to Sterling, VA in 1987. Brother of Cheryl J. Benjamin of Sterling, VA and John D. ( Mary M. ) Grimes of Ft. Worth, TX. He is survived by his aunts; Dorothy Flannery of Lawrence, KS and Myrna "Pud" Ransdell of St. Joseph, MO; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; 5 great nieces and 3 great nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved nephew John P. Grimes. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 14 from 10am until a mass of Christian burial at 11am at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Sterling, VA. Interment Sterling Cemetery.
