My favorite memory of working with Rad was the day we were setting up a demonstration about Newton's Laws. We put a hole in the ceiling unsealing a vacuum tube and spent about an hour dropping different weights of balls from various heights in the classroom. We learned a lot that day and had a great time. I'll never forget it, or Rad.

WE WERE FROM THE SAME DISTRICT AND KNEW EACH OTHER FROM THE ADMISSION DAY ITSELF AT CET. OUR PARENTS AND THE FAMILIES ALSO KNEW EACH OTHER.TO ME HE WAS LIKE A YOUNGER BROTHER, FOR I WAS SENIOR TO HIM IN AGE . THE LAST I SAW HIM WAS WHEN I ATTENDED THE LAST RITES OF HIS LATE FATHER SHRI SIVARAMA PILLAI.LATER HARI MANNAR,HIS FAMILY AND ME VISITED HIS MOTHER.
