Obituary of Axel Wilhelm Henri

On Wednesday, July 18, 2012 Colonel Axel Henri quietly passed from this earth. He was 98 years young. Born on St. Thomas, Virgin islands, Axels' greatest love was his family. He was a veteran of three wars, World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. He was also an executive at Xerox. He volunteered with the Obama campaign, proud to help re-elect a great president who was a role model for people of all races. The world was a better place with him and is a little worse without him. . He leaves, his twin daughters, Anita and Erica, and son Axel Jr., who all knew he was "the Best Dad in the World". Services will be on July 27th. The viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 12. The funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Both services will be at St. Timothy Episcopal Church, 432 Van Buren St., Herndon, VA 20170. Interment will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, 831 Dranesville Rd, Herndon,Virginia..
