After all these years, Marlene's image and voice are still a fresh remembrance every time I hear a rendition of "My Man" or the Showboat song, "Bill." Such a wondrous voice. And always cheerful, with a bright friendly smile. My condolences to Marlene's family as she is born into Eternal Life.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I recall Marlene's smile which lit up any room she entered. . . . and what a singing voice! Her rendition of "My Man" haunts me still; she had such emotion in her singing voice.

I share with Fred and Sandy and all of the rest who will add to this condolence---she was one of the really REALLY good ones. With all of the advantages of age there is this one disadvantage------the leaving of friends. Your Marlene was a good one----it was delightful to have known her.

Dear Fred and Ray, I was so so sorry to hear about Marlene. It is so hard for me to digest. She was the Hierarchy of the Sauritch Family. She was a wonderful woman, that I know because she was a Sauritch. I did not know her well, but I do have pictures with her from when I was a little girl. The Sauritch family have had many many happy times together that I do remember. I saw her last at our family reunion in 2007. She was a happy, beautiful woman and will always remember her for that. My thoughts are with you at this time of such sadness and loss. Much love to you, Carla
