This was a shocker to me... I worked with Mike as a Honeywell SA on their Multics systems back in the late seventies... I remember he loved to tinker... RIP Mike... my condolences to his family.

I remember when Mike decided to mess with my CI. It all looked normal until I typed FUP INFO. Strange things popped up. I was always an early person, so I was at work before anyone else. Once I realized what was going on, I type "GO AWAY", it came back with "LATER", I typed "NOW" and it went away. It was pretty easy to program the CI back then, I'd done it myself. When Mike came in, he sauntered into my office, and started asking questions. I'd already figured out it was he who had screwed with my CI, so I pretended that nothing was wrong. At that point, nothing was. But it was funny.
