I did not know Mr. Mulqueen but work with and know well his sister-in-law Valerie. And so I know how much Valerie liked and appreciated Gerald, especially when his wife Julie (Valerie's sister) was ill and dying. It had been a hard two years for this family and extended family, and I wish them all peace as they deal with these tragedies.

Dear Mulqueen Family, As Jerry's cousin I was so saddened to hear of his passing. I will always remember him as he appears in the picture on your first page, happy and smiling. He had a great smile to match his wonderful personality. God be with him and with you at this most difficult of times. Love, Mary

I am truly sorry for the sudden loss of someone so dear to all of you. Although I only knew Jerry briefly, I knew him through my dear friend and his wife, Julie Hood Simpson. The number of conversations Julie and I shared about relationships and partners in life were countless and never-ending. However, when she began spending time with Jerry on a regular basis, her perspective and outlook on life changed. I could tell they truly enjoyed their birding experiences, their travels, and just being together. Anyone who made my good friend so happy must be a very special person. When she shared with me about his proposal with a limerick while they were in Ireland, I thought, "Now, that is a romantic guy and just perfect for Julie." I am so sad that we have lost both of these beautiful individuals. On the other hand, I am so glad they found each other. What a special couple they made. My prayers are with you.

Jerry and Julie visited me and my wife in County Clare, IRELAND. Jerry was tracing the MULQUEEN name.
Brid, my wife and I had a very pleasant time in their company.
I gave Jerry a lot of informatio on Mulqueen's and put him in touch with other members of the Mulqueen clan.
Our deepest sympathy to Lisa and all the family.

Jerry was a great man who waited a long time to find the perfect fit in a woman, who in turn, found the prefect fit in a man. My sister and brother-in-law were the match to be reckoned with. They both introduced each other to new worlds than continued to expanded with each new adventure they posed on each other. We were honored to have Jerry with us in our family. We are saddened to not have more time with him. Our thoughts are with his family and his memory. He will always be a part of our family. Peace be to you brother.

Jerry was one of the smartest people in my life and I will always greatly miss his storties and advice. We enjoyed many wonderful family dinners with great conversations. A very kind person who never raise his voice and was always polite. Lots of great memories - we will always keep you in our thoughts and prayers. You will always be missed.
