Age 73
Of Aldie, Va, on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Georgetown University Hospital after a month long illness. Beloved Husband of Linda Evans Doherty; devoted father of Peter (Barbara), and Tim (Wendy) Doherty, brother of Mary Toohey. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren. Holly, Ryan, Kathryn, Norah, and Bailey Doherty. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 21370 St. Theresa Lane, Ashburn, Va, on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
