Obituary of Eric Tieu

Eric Tieu, of Sterling, VA, died August 23, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born July 27, 1991, in Fountain Valley, CA, the son of Tony Tung Tieu and Mui Nguyen. He attended Sterling schools and graduated from Dominion High School in 2009. He was currently enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University majoring in business administration. Eric is survived by his parents Tony Tung Tieu and Mui Nguyen; his sisters, Cindy Tieu, Kate Tieu, Robin Tieu, Jackie Kim and brother, Ly Tieu. He is also survived by his nieces, Jasmine Tieu, Victoria Nguyen, Elyse Tieu and nephews, Nicholas Dao, Trent Dao, Dylan Nguyen, twins Sebastian and Kaleb Nichols, and Anderson Tieu along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA. Viewing for friends and family will be held at the Adams-Green on Sunday August 26th from 2-5pm. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:30a.m. at the funeral home with a cremation to follow.
