August 22, 2023….”Music du jour” as you loved to say, listening to our favorite, the Durufle Requiem. Memories just flood when I hear this exquisite work. I will always be grateful you provided me with the score. It’s been nearly 10 years since you joined the angels for heavenly music…and I miss you. I miss all of it. Love, Diana

Jack was my square dance partner and we shared a lovely romantic relationship for many years. I loved going to visit him in Reno and dancing there with his club. One very moving memory was, we were dancing at a weeklong A2 festival in McCloud in September 2001. The morning of September 11 he went out for a run. We didn’t have a TV in the room so when he returned he told me about the attack on the first tower that he heard about on the car radio. We sat there in shock and shared tears. It was so traumatic. In happier thoughts we shared a love of music, particularly choral singing. I’ve sung professionally for many years so we enjoyed going to choral concerts. We shared a special love for Maurice Durufle’s Requiem and Jack even bought me the choral score. A very special gift and one I cherish. I miss you! Love, Diana

Dance, dance, wherever you may be
I am the lord of the dance, said he
And I lead you all, wherever you may be
And I lead you all in the dance, said he

I worked with Jack when he was at Customs. We talked about his love of dancing and his traveling to the different competitions. He spoke of it with such a passion that it was truly an inspiration to me as I love to dance but don’t do it often enough. Well “Jack,” I am sure you are still dancing; however, there is no more pain just comfort and peace. We wish to extend our sympathy to your partner, family, and friends. You will be missed.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Paul, Mark, & Todd and their families on the loss of their Father. It doesn't seem that long ago we went thru a similar scenario with your Mother, Judy.

We are friends of Todd and have often enjoyed hearing of how much his dad - "Jack" -- enjoyed participating in GPS Treasure Hunts; so it is with that in mind that we choose to envision Jack as now enjoying having resolved the final clue and reached the final reward of the "treasure hunt" we call life. No more GPS needed -- He has arrived at his preplanned destination and has earned the rest and celebration prepared for him there. Our sympathies to those who are left with a painful void and our prayer that it maybe filled with the only the best of memories in the coming days. God Bless.
