Obituary of Joseph Henry Cordes

Joseph Henry Cordes (age 93) On September 21, 2012 at Tall Oaks Assisted Living in Reston, VA; Beloved husband of the late Catherine Cleary Cordes; Loving and devoted father of Catherine M. (James) Poppe of Reston; brother of Eugene Cordes of Crofton, MD. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Catherine Skibo, Krista Poppe and James Joseph Poppe and 2 great grandchildren, Catherine M. Skibo and Tyler Skibo. The family will receive friends from 7-9pm on Mon. Sept. 24, 2012 at Adams-Green Funeral Home 721 Elden St. Herndon, VA 20170. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am on Tues Sept. 25, 2012 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church 101 Owensville Rd. West River, MD 20778. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
