Obituary of Linda Jo Boan

Of Sterling Virginia, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2012 at Loudoun County Hospital where she was surrounded by family and friends. While her career in software development and testing was a source of pride, her true passions were her family, her crafts and her friends. She was active in scrapbooking, knitting and needlepoint, often spending weekends with groups who shared her interests. Her ready smile and hearty laugh brought joy to those she met and she was always ready to help a friend in need. Linda is survived by her mother, Shirley Miller, brothers Timothy and Stephen Miller and sister Jennifer Rambridge as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Miller. A memorial service and celebration of her life are to be held at the Ward Hall of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 22066 Circle Drive (at East Maple) in Sterling Park, VA, on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers, friend are encouraged to make donations to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the charity of their choice.
