Ray was my oldest cousin - 7 years older to be exact - he was the best - never treated me as the nuisance as I was no doubt - but always included me in whatever he was doing - even shared his horror comics with me - remember those truly scary issues sold at the news stands long before those child protection codes came out? Gave me nightmares but what fun! Took me to the double features in Clinton - always a western or two - took me to my first college football game - Holy Cross and UConn - passed me off as a freshman so I could amuse a girl interested in him but not he in her - didn't work as I was still in junior high I believe - sorry Ray! Say hello to all our mutual relatives who have gone before you - tell Mamoo I miss her brown bread, ham and beans - yum!
