Obituary of Horace Dalton Bruce

On August 11, 2008 at Falls Church, VA. He was the beloved husband of Mabel Elizabeth Bruce. Loving and devoted father of Horace D. Bruce, Jr. (Mary Beth), Linda Erwin (Jimmie), Jerry Sajeski (Bill) and Michael Bruce (Toni). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Mr. Bruce has faithfully served at First Baptist Church of Herndon for 31 years and has brought abundant comfort, joy and love to his church family. He served 28 years of military service in the Navy and retired from banking. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 6-8 PM at First Baptist Church, 681 Elden St., Herndon, VA 20170-4722. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 3 PM at First Baptist Church in Herndon. A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Arlington National Cemetery. The family suggests that Memorial Contributions be made to First Baptist Church, Herndon, VA.
