Obituary of Virginia M. Logue

Virginia Marie Logue, 86, died October 22, 2012, in Arlington, VA. She was born July 31, 1926, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Luke Conklin and June Amber Wells Shorter. She graduated from South Side High School in 1944 and worked at Lincoln Life Insurance Co. and the Allen County Clerk's Office before marrying John Edward Logue in 1950. They moved to Warsaw in 1957 and lived there until 1966, during which time Mr. Logue was with the law firm of Graham, Rasor, Eschbach and Harris. For the past 36 years, they resided in Virginia. Mrs. Logue was active in several organizations, including Tri Kappa of Warsaw, IN, and Welcome Wagon of Springfield, VA. She was an accomplished pianist and loved music of all kinds, especially jazz. She is survived by her sister, Sheila Shorter of Fort Wayne, IN; son and daughter-in-law, John Richard and Loretta Logue of Moorpark, CA; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Kevin Koster of Woodbridge, VA; son and daughter-in-law David and Jennifer Logue of Quincy, MA; grandchildren Bryan, Samantha, and Katharine Logue, of Quincy, MA. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 28. A graveside service will be held at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA on Monday, November 12 at 9:00a.m.
