Allder, Richard "Lee", age 83, of Herndon, passed peacefully October 27, 2012.
Beloved husband of 63 years to Janet Allder. Loving father of Wanda (Steve) Mitchell of Herndon and son-in-law Jim Strickland of Sterling. Brother of Libby Hutchison of Chantilly. Also survived by grandchildren Jennifer (Mark Borcherding) Sharp of Ashburn, Lara (Tod) Larson of South Riding, Cristie (Brandon) Carpenter of Ft. Worth, TX, Nikki Mitchell of Herndon, Katie (David) Kipper of Carlsbad, CA, Stevie Mitchell of Herndon and great-grandchildren Aly, Reed, Amy, Kyla, and Mitchell.
Preceded by daughter Ginger Strickland.
Friends will be received at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA on Mon., Nov. 5 from 11 a.m. until a service at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel.
