Jen, There are no words that adequately express the sadness of losing Cheryl. She added happiness and brightness to so many. My heart and thoughts are with you. Know that her love for you knew no boundaries and will be with you forever. She was so proud of you, loved Michael like her own son and adored her two grandchildren. She and I were sympatico and like sisters from the day we met on B dock. She was my best friend, my traveling buddy and a huge part of my life. She is forever in my heart and you are forever dear to me. Love, Pam

We met at the Gangplank Marina on B-Dock when Cheryl bought the houseboat in 1998. We were next door neighbors on the dock and went to the boat show in Annapolis together when she bought "Red Rider" which we nick-named the tupperware boat. I recall a 4th of July party when the music was cranked way up for "It's Raining Men." I spent Hurricane Floyd with Cheryl at the dock and with a few Bloody Mary's, it didn't seem that bad. One summer weekend, Cheryl cruised with us for a weekend at Mattowoman Creek where we bonded and smoked cigars into the wee hours. She left her undies in the aft stateroom by mistake, which were found weeks later by a worried Danny. We cruised the Caribbean on NCL with Cheryl and she sang her signature "Fever," for a second place prize, although she deserved first place. I helped Cheryl learn to "Captain" her beautiful yacht and also to play Craps. She got pretty darn good at both. Cheryl was so generous in sharing her yacht with us and we cruised the Potomac River many times. In fact, she let us get married on the Cheryl Ann in 2010 with Captain Cheryl giving us her blessing which we will cherish forever!

Cheryl's light will burn brightly in my heart always. She lived life fully and was herself larger than life. Cheryl was the first to welcome us to B Dock with a big, "Howdy, neighbors!" I feel so fortunate to have had her in my life and so unfortunate to have lost her. My deepest condolences to Jenn and all of Cheryl's loved ones. There are no words that can ease the pain of this loss.

I am so sad to hear this news. I went to Frankfurt American high school with Cheryl, who was a year ahead of me. She was a role model...I have to say I greatly admired her and she was the girl I looked up to. May she be at peace, and may her family find strength to deal with this.

Always remember, Cheryl will look upon us with her sincere smile and let us know, she is doing okay now.

I am praying for you in your loss of a great woman! My office is located in the suite next to Cheryl's company. We got to know each other over the past couple years. She was always smiling, full of energy and excitement every time I saw her. She was always joyfully talking about her daughter and her two grandchildren. She was a delight to know -- always positive and looking at the glass half full. She will be missed.
