I only recently heard of your loss. I have not been to Sterling for a number of years. I grew up in Sterling Park and lived across the street. I was a friend of Joeys and looking at the pictures I have ran into him twice over the years and did not even know it and I am truly sorry for not recognizing him. I have wonderful memories of growing up across the street from Aunt Sandy and the Reeves Household, I am very sorry for your loss and wish all of you the best and hope everyone is in good health. My mom also gives her condolence. I was looking for a picture to upload but I cant find anything respectable all I found was one of Joey and myself playing in your front yard with a baby blue pinto in the background.

She always made it such a pleasant place to come to work and we became good friends during those times. I remember her telling me where her mother was buried and we now live near that very place. I was lucky in my life to have Sandy as my godmother. I always remember her love for me. No matter how much time it had been since I had seen or talked to her she was always so warm and loving. She genuinely cared about what was going on in my life and how I was doing. She never forgot a birthday. This last June she sent me the most beautiful card and it brought tears to my eyes. In August when we lost my mom she just held me so tight while I cried and kept telling me it would be OK and she was here for me. I will miss her so much. I love you Sandy.

I had the pleasure of knowing Sandy through my friendship with Joe and his wife Paula. The first impression I had of Sandy was that she was a firecracker. Turned out that impression was an accurate one. Everytime I spoke with Sandy she was so full of life and energy. Whenever she spoke of her family it was evident how proud and happy they made her. She was the definition of a doting "mom mom" as I got to see firsthand with her two youngest granddaughters. I can picture her face watching Isla dance at her lessons or roll around at The Litttle Gym. That is definitely how I will always remember her. I am so happy to hear that she got to spend Thanksgiving with so many loved ones.
