Obituary of David Alan Updegraff

David Alan Updegraff, 69, a Sterling, VA resident of 50 years, passed December 10, 2012. Beloved husband of Linda M. Updegraff. He was born in Wilkinsburg, PA to the late Don and Betty Updegraff and was raised in Ligonier, PA. Beloved father to Corey Updegraff, Ronald Updegraff, and Kimberlin LaRock. He is also survived by step sons, Gant and John Taylor; Sister, Nancy Updegraff; Aunt, Margery Updegraff; 7 grandchildren; numerous other family and friends. He was preceded by siblings William and Robert Updegraff and his aunt Ann Kamerer. A member of International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 77 since 1976, David retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator from Dynasty Equipment Corp in 2010. He was also a lifetime member of the Jaycees. A memorial service will be held at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA on Friday, December 14, at 11:00 a.m..
