Steve, working with you was a pleasure. You were a great colleague, who always took time to help and mentor! Your attitude towards your colleagues made you the best person to work with. You are already being missed and the void, as a person and a professional, you have left behind CANNOT ever be filled in our organization! May you rest in peace and may god reward you for the kindness and care you showed towards me and many others at and outside work.

I join with so many of the Discovery team who worked with Steve in offering our deepest sympathy to his family. He contributed so much to the team in his technical/architecture role, but it is not just his technical expertise that we will miss. Many of us talked, emailed, or used instant messaging to communicate with him daily. We will miss his cheerful demeanor, his patience, and willingness to help others that was so much a part of our day-to-day life and activities.

My deepest condolences for your loss. Steve was a very dear friend. He was exceptionally intellegent and generous, with always a kind word. I am very saddened that he did not have the time to more fully experience his passions of flying airplanes, playing chess and the piano, and creating art. Additionally, I am profoundly saddened that Steve was taken so quickly from the family whom he loved so much.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Steve fondly from our days at AIG when Thomas and Samuel might come in on a weekend with Dad and call each other on the phones. My sympathies to Samuel, Thomas and to Penny.
