William Edward Messitt, 77, of Sterling, VA, passed away on Decemeber 17, 2012 at the Virginia Hospital Center. Preceded in death by his wife Barbara Messitt and son Toby Messitt. Devoted father of Lisa Bailey, David Messitt, Gregory (Sharon) Messitt, Douglas (Julia) Messitt, Julie (John) Godby. Loving Grandpa to Logan, Connor, Liam, Amanda, Michael, Garrett and Delaney. Also survived by Michael Martineau. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 21, 2012, at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St. Herndon, VA 20170, from 6-8pm with a prayer service at 7pm.
