JOVAUGHN JASPER JOHNSON, with his big bright eyes and infectious smile, blessed the world with his presence on May 23, 1982. Born in the Nation's Capital Washington, D.C., he was the beloved son of Mary Ellen Marvin and the late Johnnie Jasper Johnson, aka JJ. He was educated in the Washington, DC and Loudoun County public school systems. He was a member of the Soka Gakkai International, a lay Buddhist organization. Soka Gakkai literally means Value Creation Society whose collective goal is to realize world peace through each person becoming happy. He was vibrant and lived life to the fullest. His smile and warm personality were magnetic. His heart was as expansive as the universe and he was always willing to give in order to bring happiness to others. He leaves to emulate his life and cherish fond memories, his Mother, Mary Marvin; his sister Elita J. Johnson; his brother Bernard R. Ofori; Aunts and Uncles Jessie and Rick Lazeroff, Georgi and Bob Mathews, Ed and Rosemary Marvin, Wydell Johnson, Renee Brown, Sandra Brown and Shirley Bigalow. He also leaves a very special friend, Shante Simms and spiritual advisors, Sherry Levavasseur, Penny Parker and Bobby Woodard.
