Obituary of Rosemary Kathryn O'Donnell

Rosemary Kathryn O'Donnell, age 87, of Herndon, VA, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013. She was born July 18, 1925 in Columbus, MI. to the late John and Margaret (Thelen) O'Donnell. She was raised by her cousins the late Francis and Ellen Kronner. Rose graduated in 1944 from St. Augustine Catholic High School. Rose spent many happy years in the Foreign Service assigned to several American Embassies that included Rome, Berlin, Quito, Budapest, Santo Domingo and Ottawa. She enjoyed traveling the world and sharing her adventures with family and friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Rose is survived by her daughter Maggie and grandchildren Gabriel and Isabella and sister-in-law Elizabeth and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her bothers Robert and John (Jack) and sister-in-law Ruth.
