She was as wonderful a grandmother as anyone could ever ask for, as well as just a really good person. I always looked forward to trips to my grandparents' house when I was younger. She will be missed.

Mary Lee and her family have been such a presence in my life from childhood to now. When I was growing up, any trip my family made to the East Coast would include a festive visit to the Hopkins home in Hayfield. That is where I learned the stories and antics of her generation. I will miss you, Aunt Mary Lee, and I am thinking of your family during this difficult time. Love, Tracy

Mary Lee and Jim were one of my parents' first friends in Hayfield and Mary Lee and my mom started their neighborhood bridge group together. I have many fond memories of the Hopkins family. Mary Lee and Jim hosted a couples engagement party for my husband Patrick and myself which I will never forget. I too can picture Mary Lee and Jim dancing up in heaven - they were so awesome on the dance floor at all of our family weddings! Our prayers go out to Janet, Tom, Kay and all of the grandchildren and to all of Mary Lee and Jim's dearest friends. Love, Maryalice, Patrick, Peyton, Jack and Dolan

II met Mary Lee when I was 19 yrs old.....married her son, Jim, at age 22. She and my father in law visited us at every duty station we had in Jim's 20 yr Navy career (HI, Guam, Venezuela, Okinawa). I always loved their visits, because as a couple, they were full of life....and fun....and as many know, there were many lively political discussions over the years, Risk games, food, music, and I always loved watching the two of them do the jitterbug! I truly miss those days. They are precious to me now....so many good memories.

What wonderful memories we have of our dear Mary Lee and Jim. I can just see them dancing away into the "great beyond". Although, we've been gone from Hayfield these 20 years....our fondest memories are of all the good times we had there and so many of them included Mary Lee and Jim. Our deepest sympathies to Janet, Tom and Kay and all the grandchildren. Jerry and Pat Moran
