Obituary of Mabel Goodwin Thomas

Mabel G. Thomas (Age 88) Passed away in her sleep on January 8, 2013. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years Col. Harold P. G. H. Thomas, U.S.A.F. (ret.) and survived by daughters Tonya Finton of Bethesda, Maryland, and Olivia Schirrmeister of Houston, Texas. Also survived by her son-in-law Timothy Finton and grandchildren Christopher and Thomas Finton and Clare, Grace, and Andy Schirrmeister. She was a sweet, loving woman who will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to know her. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 11 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church at 201 East Frederick Drive, Sterling, VIrginia. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.
