I came to know Annabelle about 20 years ago when she and Susan became members of the Ashburn Sports Pavilion. They both showed up one day in my cardio class and that was the beginning of a lasting friendship. Belle was the oldest member of my class, but by far among the most fit. She would dance her way through our routines with a big smile and lots of energy. Even over the years when we introduced new formats, Belle would always give it a try, and become proficient at it. I remember how much fun we all had as we experimented with the big stability ball and we all fell off. Oh what joy we had getting fit. She was a true inspiration to us younger gals. She would always show up perfectly coiffed and looking adorable in her matching sweatsuits. I wanted to be just like her when I grew up and still do. She will be dearly missed and I will always remember her as a true role model for the way to enter senior citizenship. Rest in peace my friend.
